Where is it all leading?

Once again I find myself walking this path with tears streaming from my eyes, 

wondering what God has in His plan.  

Where is this road leading now? 

God speaks to me through the music in my iTouch, 

the sun dries my tears, and I keep walking.

I don't have answers, 

but I have faith in the One who does... 

and He walks with me on the path that is my life.

Loss

Loss is black and white with lots of gray areas

the ache of eyes that have spilled too many tears

the scratch of a throat that has sobbed

pain that has sharply jagged edges

a feeling of hopelessness even for one who knows Hope

The color in my day left in mere seconds

restoration seems endless

Father God, please paint the colors of hope, love and forgiveness back 
into my black and white heart 

that is filled with loss.

The waves keep coming

knocking me to my knees

and leaving me gasping for breath

yet somehow God gives me the strength to face the next one...

and the next

and keeps me from drowning
